Gazebos Pergolas
& Rose Arches

Gazebos are freestanding roofed structures that can provide a shaded or sheltered entertaining space in your garden. Pergolas have vertical posts supporting a roof of crossbeams or rafters, providing partial shade, rather than complete coverage.
Rose arches are smaller structures to pergolas, that traditionally allow a rose to ramble over it, creating a beautiful entrance to a part of your garden.
Gazebos, pergolas and rose arches can be positioned anywhere in your garden.

Gazebo &

Decking Area

This gazebo, constructed from tantalised Douglas fir and finished with a felt shingle roof, was designed and built with both style and functionality in mind.

The 6x6” posts and ring beam give the structure a solid yet streamlined appearance. Joining the posts directly to the ring beam eliminated the need for corner knee braces, helping to maintain the gazebo’s clean, square look.

To complete the project, I added a wraparound step and a slatted privacy screen, creating a welcoming space that’s perfect for relaxing or entertaining.
