A garden room can be anything you wish it to be: a studio, home-office, gym, hobby room or entertainment space. It can provide a comfortable, insulated and versatile space, for year round use in your outdoor area.
Workshops, car ports and stables are just some examples of outdoor buildings. My garden rooms and buildings range from classic to contemporary designs.

Garden Studio with hot tub area
This studio room, with hot tub area, was designed to give the client a stylish and practical garden retreat. The entire structure was clad in vertical larch shadow gap to create a warm, modern finish that sits beautifully within the garden. To complement the larch, I used a Clad Co roof and bifold doors, in anthracite grey. The metal support was colour matched, which compliments the contemporary look of the building.
Throughout this project, the clients's specific requirements were met. Every stage was carefully managed. I coordinated all electrical provisions with a trusted contractor to ensure the build progressed smoothly and was completed on time.
The result is a functional, contemporary garden studio with hot tub area, tailored perfectly to the client's lifestyle.
Versatile Garden Building
After several planning meetings with the customer, I created a design for a garden building that met their very specific requirements while complementing the surrounding landscape. The project was flexible from the outset, allowing adjustments as the customer decided they needed more space, ensuring the final building perfectly suited their vision and lifestyle.
Every stage of the build was tailored to the customer’s needs, with careful attention to quality fixtures and fittings. This bespoke structure combines functionality with thoughtful design, resulting in a garden building that is not only practical but also enhances the character and enjoyment of the outdoor space.
Home Office
After a few meeting my client we both agreed on a design that is not only practical, but also fits in to the surrounding area. The most complicated part to this build was fitting it in! And making the most of the space i had to work with. By using corrugated Cladco sheets this allowed me to build the back wall as close to the boundary wall as possible, by doing this i was able to maximise the footprint of the building.
The front elevation has got a set of contemporary aluminium bifold doors in Anthracite grey to match the roof. Using Western red cedar for the cladding allows a low maintenance but stylish look and feel to the building.
Fully insulated and all first and second fix electrical work completed, plaster boarded then skimmed. To finish this building ready for the client to get in and use it straight away I layed a finish floor and painted all the walls so it was ready for action!
Overall a very practical and usable building was created for my very happy client.
